Lee and Graham had an outdoor wedding ceremony last Friday at Atholl Palace in Pitlochry. The rain held off for their moving ceremony by Dendle French, once the flowergirl had been safely delivered for the procession!

The wedding in question is Joanne and Rob's. Here I suggested the Falkirk Wheel for their bridal shots. More soon once it's been published.
I have just received a number of enquiries for 2009 for Blair Castle. This is a spectacular fairytale castle in Blair Atholl, Perthshire and brilliant for weddings. The picture staircase and armoury are particularly photogenic as is the bridge over the burn in the local wood.
Above is a slideshow from a Selina and Geoff's wedding I photographed in early May. They had their ceremony at Blair Castle with a reception at the Atholl Arms Hotel. The weather was kind and we got some wonderful photographs in the castle grounds.
One of my weddings from last summer is published in this month's Wedding Ideas Magazine , more details to follow once I have managed to find a copy. Might need a trip to Tesco's in Perth.
Apparently Heather and Geoff's wedding is featured in the Real Life Wedding Section. This was a wedding where an owl delivered the rings during the ceremony even though the registrar was scared of birds!
Yesterday I met Gilly, her beautiful daughter Ffion, Mum and Gran as Gilly has booked me for her intimate wedding next February at Fettes College and Prestonfield Hotel in Edinburgh. Her guests think she is getting married at Hogwarts as Fettes really is a spectacular gothic structure.
Gilly is an artist by profession and booked me as she wanted some spectacular bridal photographs. Having visited Fettes College and Prestonfield Hotel I am spoilt for choice. Prestonfield House is the most spectacular interior I have ever seen and I will be like a wee kid in a sweet shop!
Michelle and Andy married at Huntingtower Castle, Perth. Below is a slideshow of some of my favourites.

Tessa and Nic have booked me for their outdoor wedding on Loch Awe in mid September. They both love landscapes with water and big skys so chose me to be their wedding photographer. With luck we will take a boat onto Loch Awe.
Here's hoping they have great weather as I will be in my element. Their wedding venue is the Taychreggan Hotel , a spectacular highland retreat near Oban. Your pre wedding photographs will be on-line later today.

Yesterday I was at Huntingtower Castle, Perth for the wedding of Michelle and Andy. Some of my favourites from the day follow:
I said I would upload some favourites while Andy's family are over from Ireland as they leave on Sunday. Some bridal photographs will follow.
On Saturday I was at my favourite local restaurant, the Grouse and Claret, for Robert's 21st Birthday Party. Rob had a great cake topped in lager cans and great food courtesy of an amazing Chinese Banquet by David Futong & the team.
There were several surprises for the guests - a table magician and late night ice creams after one of the funniest speeches I have ever heard. Everyone had a great time as can been seen by a selection of my favourites below.
Table magicians are a great idea for a party and I can highly recommend Dusty the Magician (The magician at Rob's party) or Steven Dick who I have photographed at a number of weddings.
I can also highly recommend The Grouse and Claret This beautiful location is ideal for small weddings, parties, and corporate days and for me offers some of the best food in Perthshire as well as the warmest of welcomes.
