Robert's 21st

On Saturday I was at my favourite local restaurant, the Grouse and Claret, for Robert's 21st Birthday Party. Rob had a great cake topped in lager cans and great food courtesy of an amazing Chinese Banquet by David Futong & the team.

There were several surprises for the guests - a table magician and late night ice creams after one of the funniest speeches I have ever heard. Everyone had a great time as can been seen by a selection of my favourites below.

Table magicians are a great idea for a party and I can highly recommend Dusty the Magician (The magician at Rob's party) or Steven Dick who I have photographed at a number of weddings.

I can also highly recommend The Grouse and Claret This beautiful location is ideal for small weddings, parties, and corporate days and for me offers some of the best food in Perthshire as well as the warmest of welcomes.

Be My Bear

Today was my daughter's 5th Birthday party and she had 11 of her friends around to the house for a Be My Bear Party. Carolie Hart was the party organiser and she did a fabulous job of keeping 11 girls entertained.

It was quite a party seeing 12 toy bears being assembled in my sitting room. All the bears also came with a birth certificate, clothes and a special carrier bag so each girl went home with a new best friend.

I highly recommend Catherine Hart and her team - more details of her parties are included at Bear Party Zone. I think this is a great idea for weddings where there are lots of children to entertain.

Vicki's 50th Birthday Party

On Saturday I photographed Vicki's 50th birthday party at the Grouse and Claret Restaurant in Kinross. The dining room and restaurant was adorned with stunning flowers and there was a beautiful chocolate birthday cake complete with 50 candles. All the images are due on line by Saturday 12th May.
