Sometimes you strike lucky. This was the first image I took last night upon setting up on a volcanic outcrop near Earlsferry. The sun came out and lit the rocks, the low sun was uplighting the distant clouds and a wave crashed in washed around my wellies and cascaded down the rocks.

I will be giving a talk in the new year about my landscape photography in St Andrews and it will include some tips and tricks on capturing images like this. A lot is planning and experience but there's a few other techniques that improve ones luck. Please contact me if your interested in attending.
