Fire and Ice

I realised this month that with all the wedding albums, reprints and a couple of winter weddings to photograph that I hadn't gone out and taken a landscape. Well this evening looked promising - cold and clear, so I had a wee trip to Loch Leven, Perthshire at Burleigh Sands where I found this interesting ice formation.

A nice ending to a very busy 2008. Time to put the feet up now and welcome in a brand new year. Happy New Year to all the followers of the my blog, keep watching in the new year for news on my landscape talk, book project as well as some weddings from Prestonfield House, Edinburgh and Dunfermline Abbey in Fife.

Edinburgh Caves

Here is part two of Saturdays wedding, after congratulations at St Fillans Church in Aberdour, Imogen and Dan travelled to the Edinburgh Caves for their Wedding Reception:


The Caves has incredible lighting for some very dramatic and atmospheric photographs of the couple:


A candle lit meal after some great speeches with a bit of time out for some glamorous as well as fun portraiture.
