With the onset of Autumn I visited a local gorge today to re-aquaint myself with landscape photography. With a busy wedding season it's months since I took a landscape photograph.
The location I visited has always frustrated me so today I decided to walk the route in reverse to see if something new would catch my eye and indeed I did find something new.
This amazing tree was backlit by the setting sun and although I like the image in colour the graphic lines of the branches make a strong monochrome image. Definitely an image for my next exhibition.
Stunning Martin.
